Explore a Brazil-inspired city in this action game

171 is an action game developed by Betagames Group that allows you to explore a large open world inspired by Brazilian sceneries and experiences. This indie game is still under development and is currently only available in its alpha version, so expect some bugs here and there.

Similar to other open-world titles like Grand Theft Auto V, your actions in 171 can greatly affect how other characters interact with you. It’s also important to keep in mind that, similar to the formerly mentioned title, this game features sensitive content relating to mature themes, as well as violence and gore.

Numerous ways for the plot to unfold

171 boasts an extremely large explorable world that players can enjoy uncovering. It features stunning graphics that capture many of the familiar streets of Brazil while also including numerous elements you can interact with. The sizable map also features multiple storylines that you can unlock by engaging with NPCs and objects. You can also unlock some hidden quests by going to specific areas at a certain date and time.

As mentioned before, each action you take will cause the people and environment around you to react in a specific way. For example, acting aggressively can cause some local gangs and the police to pick up on your character’s movements, which can also lead you to some trouble. With this system implemented in the game, you can create some truly interesting scenarios that make the storyline even more enjoyable.

Players should note, though, that some of the movements and effects found in the game aren’t quite smooth. Certain actions can seem unnatural or will result in some unexpected visual glitches. Since the game is still in development, however, this can still be addressed in future versions. Moreover, due to the high-quality resolution and large map, you will need a minimum of 17 GB of available space on your device.

Worth looking forward to

Players can be put off by the wonky graphics and sizable storage space requirements, but these issues can still be deemed forgivable, given the unique experience 171 presents. With a large number of quests and storylines to unlock, you also have enough content to enjoy without breezing through the game too quickly. There’s also plenty of room for improvement, especially since the game is still in its alpha phase.

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
